Art Burnout Center

Das „Art Burnout Center“, eine Tagesklinik, eine Selbstinszenierung und ein partizipatives Ausstellungsmodell.

In einer ehemaligen Bank steht im Beratungszimmer ein Bett aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, darin liegt ein erkrankter Künstler. Er hat Burnout. Sein_e Pfleger_in bringt ihm Kuchen und Sekt und Besucher_innen bringen Kunst, hängen sie an die Wand und flanieren durch den Raum. Der Künstler hat seine Gäst_innen darum gebeten ihre Kunst selbst mitzubringen, da er ja, durch seine Erkrankung nicht in der Lage ist auszustellen. Die Vernissage geht dahin und immer mehr Besucher_innen füllen den Raum, nehmen Platz auf dem Krankenbett des Künstlers und das ganze wird zu einem frivolen Amüsement.

Die Interaktive Installation reflektiert Arbeits- und Lebenssituationen von Künstler_innen, hinterfragt therapeutische Methoden und Krankheitsbilder und deren sozialen Realität.
